Destiny 2: Lightfall video game is the next major expansion for Destiny 2, the 1st-person shooter video game from Bungie. Representing the 7th expansion and the 6th year of extended content for Destiny 2, it is set to be released on month February 28, year 2023. The expansion revolves around the exiled Cabal emperor, Calus, a recurring character in Destiny 2, now a disciple of the Witness,the Witness, as he and their forces of the Shadow Legion Cabal and Tormentors attack the secret city of Neomuna with tech (technology). Neptune enters the Last City to herald the 2nd doom, Destiny 2: Lightfall will add new content across the game, including new missions, Player versus Environment locations, player gear, Player versus Player maps,weapons and new raids. 2 new dungeons will be released as well as respawns from the original Destiny 2 . There will also be 4 seasonal content offerings released over the course of Year six of the game: Season of Defiance, which will be available alongside the expansion, Season of the Deep in summer year 2023, followed by two uninvited seasons names in fall year 2023 and winter year 2023 to year 2024, respectively. Destiny 2: Lightfall expands on the core game-play of Destiny 2 by adding a new free-roaming world for the city of Neomuna on the planet Neptune. During the year, Destiny 2: Lightfall content will include a new raid, which will be available one week after the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall on month March 10, year 2023, 2 new dungeons, and the return of Destiny 2 or Destiny that was removed from the game the body, new and existing story content will be expanded with a “Legendary” difficulty similar to The Witch Queen (year 2022), designed to be difficult for single players but with increased rewards for completion. Starting with Destiny 2: Lightfall and future expansions, past expansions and their content will no longer be removed from the game and placed in the Destiny Content Vault, where content will continue to be saved and deleted at the start of each expansion.
