Cricket 19 is a Year 2019 cricket video game developed and published by Big Ant Studios. Cricket 19 is the official video game of the Year 2019 Ashes cricket series and the 1st version of the Year 2017 Ashes cricket series. Cricket 19 was released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and Xbox One on May 28, Year 2019, and on July 31 for Microsoft Windows via Steam. Added to Xbox Game Pass on October 22, Year 2020. Cricket 19 is the 2nd cricket game released by Big Ant Studios for Nintendo Switch, the 1st being Big Bash Boom (BBB).
The game Cricket 19 introduces a new game mode called Scenario Mode which allows players to start the game in any pre-determined scenario. Cricket 19 also allows users to participate in ODI, T20 and Men’s World Cup Tests, as well as ODI and T20 World Cup. However, these do not have any ICC jurisdiction. Features such as games, tours and competition generators are also included which allow the user to customize according to their needs. Cricket 19 also features a career mode that allows the player to start the career as a rookie or play as an established cricketer. Australia Women, Australia, West Indies Women, West Indies, England Women and England have full rights to the correct equipment and player face. Country Australian national teams are also fully licensed. Cricket 19 also includes live shows of all the Ashes Year 2019 host sites – Edgbaston, Headingley, Lord’s, Old Trafford and The Oval. Unauthorized groups include people from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Despite the lack of permission, users can download these groups as created by other game academy users. This game also includes the Year 2020 Caribbean Premier League and the Year 2021 century season.
