One Piece Odyssey video game is a year 2023 role playing video game developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Part of the 1 Piece title, One Piece Odyssey was released for Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X/S on month January year 13. This game is a turn based action game in which players play with Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. Each playable character has a special ability corresponding to their power, which is used to collect items, move, and solve puzzles. When an enemy is placed on the field, the One Piece Odyssey game switches to the battle screen, where actions are controlled using menu commands. The battle system revolves around a series of “Scramble Area Battles”, where battles are split into multiple areas.
Players can level-up party members between zones to block opponents. In some battles, a random element in the system called a “Dramatic Scene” puts the player in a terrible situation with a dramatic scene, such as Sanji not being able to attack because the children women surround him, and defeating them offers great rewards. As with other games in the genre, party members gain experience points after battle and level up once enough points are earned. This game was announced on month March 28, year 2022, as part of the 25th anniversary of the One Piece franchise.
