World Wrestling Entertainment 2K22 is a 2022 professional wrestling video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the 22nd installment in the series of video games based on WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment), the ninth game under the WWE2K banner and the successor to WWE2K20 of 2019. It was released on March 11, Year 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
WWE 2K’s MyCareer has been rebranded as MyRISE and focuses on separate stories for male and female wrestlers. Using the created characters, players can make alliances, make enemies, and divide into smaller strategies depending on the player’s choice.
The 2K show is back as a show, featuring the iconic wrestler Rey Mysterio, giving players the chance to play through the greatest moments of his WWE career. The 2K display version includes new features and updates. As players progress, they can unlock new characters, costumes and locations. At IGN Fan Fest 2022, a replay of the match between Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam 2009 showed the transition between the match and live action, using both the match and archived audio, unlike the match the past ones. The game has a new mode called MyFACTION. In it, players can build a wrestling ring by collecting, managing and improving WWE wrestlers with regular updates and weekly events. MyFACTION has playing cards from all over WWE history.
Universe Mode has returned with several updates, including the ability to change the camera angle while watching a game. Other new features include playing as a superstar team, focusing solely on their gameplay and story line. MyGM, formerly known as GM Mode, returns to the series for the first time since (World Wrestling Entertainment ) WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. Players can choose from Sonya Deville, Adam Pearce, William Regal, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon or a custom character in control of one of the four WWE types: Raw, SmackDown, NXT or NXT UK . Players can book wrestling shows in high school gyms and on prime-time television, recruit superstars, manage contracts and management fees, all while trying to create the first WWE brand.
