Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI game is an upcoming combat fighting game developed and published by Capcom. Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI is scheduled to be released on Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X/S on month June 2, year 2023. Taito is expected to release the exclusive Japan arcade model in year 2023.
Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI offers three main game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour and Hub Hub. Ground Fighting has local and online battles as well as action and game modes, all featuring 2Dimensional fighting games like the previous games in the series, in which two fighters use different fighting styles and special abilities to repel each other their enemies. World Tour is a single player story mode with a customizable player avatar in a 3Dimensional environment and gameplay. Battle Hub works like an online bathroom mode, with customizable player avatars from the world tour mode, with other features to be revealed in the future.
The fighting game of Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI is based on the Drive Gauge, a system designed to motivate the player. The check can be used for five different strategies, forcing players to choose which one to prioritize. Many of the Drive Gauge mechanics are based on existing mechanics from previous mainline Street Fighter games, such as Focus Attack, Parry, EX move etc. Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI game has three control modes: a \”classic\” control scheme with a 6 button layout that works like the original input, a \”modern” control scheme that assigns unique movements to one button combined with directional input, and “Powerful” management plan, which is only allowed in the part of the Fighting Ground mode, but is not allowed in the online battle, using the attack layout 1 button automatic, depending on the scope performed.
The use of multiple super combos returns from the Street Fighter Alpha series, including the Super Ultra Combo W variant from Ultra Street Fighter 6 / Street Fighter VI. However, each character only has 3 great combos depending on their level rating. For example, Shin Hashogeki, Ryu’s Shinku Hadoken and Shin Shoryuken can only be used at levels one, two and three respectively.
