Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a year 2022 Action RPG role-playing game developed and published by Techland. Following year 2015’s Dying Light, the game was released on February 4, year 2022 for Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Nintendo Switch version for the cloud opens. Dying Light 2 game received generally positive reviews, with praise for the combat, parkour system and open world, but criticism for the story. Dying Light 2 sold 5M units within the 1st month of its release.
The game is an action and horror survival game that features an open zombie apocalyptic theme. Set 22 years after Deathstroke, it features a newcomer named Aiden Caldwell (voiced by Jonah Scott), who has a unique parkour skill. Players can perform actions such as climbing on ledges, jumping, jumping from sides and wall running to quickly travel through the city. It has been announced that there are more than 3000 parkour shows to provide a free running experience. Accessories such as tow hooks and paragliders also make exploring the city easy. Aiden can also use an immortal to break his fall. Dying Light 2 game is primarily melee, with most of the combat using melee weapons. Melee weapons have a short life and degrade more as the player uses them in combat. Long weapons such as crossbows, rifles, and spears can also be used. Weapons can be upgraded to different standards and items that can be found by breaking down weapons to create parts. Aiden can use superhuman abilities because of the disease. New zombies have been added. Like the first game, zombies are slow when exposed to sunlight, but become stronger and stronger at night. During these last hours of the day, players can avoid zombies roaming the streets by staying on the roof, which will prevent him from entering the house to avoid sunlight, or explore the storage space of the building to find items.
Dying Light 2 game takes place in the city of Villedor, the largest urban city in Europe that players can explore for free. The map, which is four times larger than the original game, is divided into seven different areas, each with its own symbols and locations. While rebuilding the city, players can salvage machinery and equipment to create new items and weapons. Players can activate wind turbines to lure survivors and traders to set up positions. As the player explores the city, they will find Inhibitors, which can be used to increase Aiden’s health or stamina. Players encounter different factions and have to make decisions that change the state of the game world and how non-game characters view Aiden.
