Elden Ring

About Elden Ring

Elden Ring is a year 2022 Role Playing Action game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki owns the world of fantasy writer George R. R. Martin, released for Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on February year 25. In the Elden Ring game, players control a customizable character on a journey to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord.

Elden Ring is presented from a 3rd person perspective, where players navigate its open world. The 6 main areas are traversed using the player’s Torrent tool as their primary form of travel, where linear hidden dungeons can be explored to find useful items. Combat is supported by a variety of weapons and magic spells, including non-specific interventions by stealth operatives. Checkpoints in the open world allow the player to use in-game currency called Runes to upgrade their character, as well as speed up travel. Elden Ring has several online games, and players can team up for cooperative and player versus player battles. FromSoftware wants to create an open world game similar to Dark Souls, intending Elden Ring to act as an evolution of the 1st game in the series. Miyazaki likes Martin’s work and hopes that his input will create a simpler story than FromSoftware’s past. Martin was given the freedom to create an unrestricted story, while Miyazaki remained the story writer for the story unfolding during the game. As a story, the scale requires the construction of many different structures in an open world. Elden Ring is a third-person action game, with a focus on combat and exploration. The player chooses a character class at the beginning of the game, which determines their starting type, equipment, and characteristics. Fights with enemies can be at close range or with different weapons.
