Formula 1 – F1 2021 is the official video game of the 2021 Formula 1 and Formula 2 Championship developed by Codemasters and published by EA Sports. F1 is the 14th title in Codemasters’ F1 series and the 1st in a series published by Electronic Arts under the EA Games division since F1 Career Challenge in year 2003, following Electronic Arts’ acquisition of Codemasters a few months before its release. F1 game was released for Microsoft PlayStation 4, Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on July 16, year 2021. The deluxe edition was released three days earlier on July year 13. Codemasters unveiled F1 year 2021 on April 15, year 2021, featuring a new story mode. New circuits of Portimão, Imola and Jeddah were added after the free update. The Marina Bay, Montreal, Melbourne and Suzuka circuits all feature in the games as originally planned, despite the live races being canceled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The Shanghai Circuit is also in the game, as it is part of the new Braking Point mode. For the 1st time in the career mode, it is now possible for 2 players to participate in the career mode together, as teammates or competitors.
7 world champions in Formula 1 history are the drivers selected in My Team: Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Felipe Massa. The vision of the F1 2021 game has been improved compared to last year, based on the successful adaptation of the racing scene and the appearance of the characters in the story mode. In addition, a full F1 campaign opening title has been added after the game has been completed following the EA Sports and Codemasters logo. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as on PC, ray support makes an appearance in F1 games.
