Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a year 2020 adventure-action game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales based on the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales/Spider-Man, it draws inspiration from the character’s mythology in the year 2018 film Spider Man: Into the Spider Verse, which helped popularize it. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales game is a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man year (2018), and the second installment in Insomniac’s Spider-Man series. The story focuses on Miles’ struggle to balance his civilian career with his role as the second Spider Man while the war between Roxxon Energy Corporation and the modern criminal force known as the Underground is raging his new home music, Harlem. The mysterious Tinkerer leads. The gameplay is presented from a third-person perspective focusing on Miles’ journey and fighting skills. Miles can freely roam New York, interact with characters, perform tasks, and unlock new gear and suits by progressing through the main story or completing missions. Apart from the story, the player can complete side missions to unlock other content and collectibles. Combat focuses on linking attacks and using the environment and the web to stop multiple enemies while avoiding damage. Announced during the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June year 2020, the game was released as a new console launch title on November 12, year 2020 in North America and Australia, and November 19 worldwide. The PlayStation 4 version was released on the same day, without some of the advanced features of its peers such as ray tracing or the 60 FPS performance mode, due to the limited functionality of the controller. The Windows version was released on November 18, year 2022. The game was praised for its combat, storytelling, content and technical improvements from the PlayStation 5 version. It has sold over 6.5 million units as of July year 2021.
