Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction (formerly known as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine) is a multiplayer tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. A sequel to Rainbow Six Siege year (2015), Extraction is a cooperative multiplayer game in which players must work together to fight and defeat a parasite-like alien species called Archaeans. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction game was released for Google Stadia, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Windows, Amazon Luna, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S on January 20, year 2022. The game received mixed reviews from critics. Rainbow Six Extraction is a multiplayer game that supports up to three players. In Extraction, operators must enter alien locations with specific objectives, such as collecting samples, computer extraction, and information gathering. Each game session, called “drive”, is made up of three submaps connected together, and players will be assigned one of twelve objectives randomly within each map. The conditions of the objective and the placement of the enemy are created in the system. Once the player has achieved their objective, they can choose to spawn or explore the next mini-map. New areas may be more difficult than previous ones, but players are rewarded for successfully completing them. Timely releases ensure user safety. If an enemy drops a user, they will be lost or inactive, and players won’t be able to play with them until they rescue them from the extraction mission. The events that hurt so much in the past will continue to hurt and recover only slowly.
Many Siege agents return to Extraction, to form the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis and Containment (REACT) team to contain foreign threats. Before each mission begins, players can choose their operator from a pool of 18.
Ubisoft company Montreal created Rainbow Six Extraction as a sequel to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege of year 2015. According to Jason Schreier, Extraction is from a project named Pioneer that was 1st teased in Watch Dogs 2 year (2016). Pioneer was originally conceived as a sci-fi exploration game, until it was redesigned in year 2019 with the Siege engine, AnvilNext fight against aliens in New Mexico.
