TCGRWL (Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands) is a cover-based shooter set in an open-world environment and played from a 3rd-person perspective with a 1st-person shooter option. Players control members of Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, also known as “Ghosts”, a fictional United States Army special operations unit under the Joint Special Operations Command. It does not feature the futuristic settings used in Advanced War-fighter and Future Soldier, but instead adopted a modern setting, similar to the original TCGR (Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon). As a result, these tools show that the game is based on the weapons and equipment used by soldiers around the world. It includes original equipment, such as drones that can be used to mark enemies and target targets. These drones have limited capabilities until upgraded. The game is the first entry to feature an open world environment, with nine different types of terrain, such as: mountains, forests, deserts, salt flats, and introduces a strong weather system and night cycle. Completing the mission during the day allows the Player to easily see the enemy, after completing the mission at night gives the Player a better advantage, as the night provides the Player with better privacy and easy infiltration due to some guards sleeping. Players are advised to check before working. Various vehicles, such as dirt bikes, helicopters, and dune boats are featured in the game, unlike its predecessors, Wildland has many side missions.
